The Woman Behind the Whisk

Hi, I’m Joanne – engineer, full-time cake dreamer, and proud founder of Cakes from Heaven. What began as a creative escape while raising my two little boys soon became a full-blown passion for baking and sugar artistry. I trained with some of the best in the business, including the incredible Lima Cakes, and eventually swapped spreadsheets for spatulas – and I haven’t looked back since!


Today, we create beautiful, bespoke cakes for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and all of life’s sweet celebrations. Our style is elegant, personal, and always baked with love. Whether it’s a romantic wedding showpiece or a playful birthday creation, we’re here to bring your dream cake to life – one tier (and one sprinkle) at a time.
